Today was ballerina day. I found out that Gina, actress & producer, has studied ballet. So at our shoot we ended up doing some ballet poses. After another touch of Tecuci mustard I left Gina and her boyfriend Ilan after 3 days and 2 nights of amazing hospitalilty. Yes, it does sound like a movie title.
Next was the shoot with Merel. She works for Agent Provocateur but she’s designing her first line of lingerie. She’s been modeling for 5 years and loves poetry. I was lucky enough to hear her read some poems from Lang Leav, her favorite poet. And like Gina, she also studied ballet, making this day my ballerina day. We didn’t shoot any ballet poses, but her ballerina grace is visible throughout the shoot.
As I was walking through Amsterdam with the backpack on my shoulders, seing the full moon reigning over the darkening city, I remembered Michael Faudet ‘s verses that I saw in Merel’s white room.
